| Bio: | [ABOUT ME] In short, I'm a mean, sarcastic university student who's putting up a huge front to make it appear as if I'm actually nice. Nonetheless, I will likely learn to love anything you throw at me, even if I turn my nose down at it the first time. No kidding. I'm a bit of a fandom magpie, and my tastes run far afield, having been known to settle for long periods of time in tragically disparate fandoms for sudden and inexplicable reasons. Furthermore, my grades are rapidly dropping and most of the time if I post at all it's likely about whatever academic jam I've gotten myself into this time, so keep that in mind. I try to keep things light around here, though, and usually aim to balance out any griping about writing english papers overnight with posts about fun things like television and pretty, pretty boys. Erm. My main fandoms right now are Bandom (for which I save an almost frightening degree of my passionate love and general insanity for), Supernatural, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Heroes and most recently Stargate: Atlantis. I also have a deep and abiding love for DC Comics, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean. If you want to come and scream at me about any of these, I'll happily oblige you :D [ABOUT MY FIC] Strangely enough, I occasionally manage to spew out some fic from time to time, and everything I've posted can be found at ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small} emjayfic. Writing fanfic is truly what I love to do, despite how things may appear. And I'm being completely serious here. So, when I post fic it's very definitely a labor of love, and comes with a lot of blood, sweat and tears splattered all over it.[ABOUT FRIENDING] A while back, when I had a bad falling out with a RL friend who then started trolling my journal, I entertained brief thoughts about going friends-only, but nothing much ever came of them, and I've entertained no similar thoughts since. I'm fairly open in my journal, and I can't remember the last thing I stuck under friendslock, so if you friend me, more than likely I will friend you back. I would prefer if you dropped a line to say hi, but if you don't, well, what can I do about that? I'm a grade-A lurker myself a lot of the time, so I'm not one who should cast stones. My defriending policy is much the same: defriend at your leisure, because it won't bother me. I understand that interests shift and people change, so if one day you find yourself reading a post of mine and going, "GOD, WHY WON'T SHE JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP?", feel free to defriend. If I knew you fairly well, I might be very confused, but I won't bitch you out about it. [ABOUT MY ICONS] I make none of my own icons, so even if you don't see me credit anyone, they aren't mine. The sad fact is I only have the ability to have 15 icons at one time, but yet harbor a shameless and irrepressable love for icons in general, and save hoards at a time into my pictures folder. Because I am lazy and very, very forgettful, I don't write down or make a note anywhere of who made them, so when I rotate out my icons as I try to do every so often, I've got absolutely no clue who they belong to.
